tuck1989
I remember reading somewhere that before medevil's brilliance came around people used to edit there sata kexts from installs with their device ids to get sata support. Anybody know how this worked? My problem right now is that I can't copy any large files without lockups from the driver. Any ideas would be great... I have a 680i Chipset motherboard too, and I have no problems with it. I modified the driver from medevil and now I have the AppleVIAATA kext to control my IDE (it recogizes it as a SATA drive but no other wierd stuff). The AppleNForce.kext only controls the SATA. Download the drivers from here : http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...mp;#entry538886 My OS: 10.5.2 Please write back about the results. Good luck!!!!!
