Hi all

Feed back on this topic will help me decide which grapics card I need to buy........

Does anyone have the following:

10.5.2 installation

Two monitors, one DVI (Pure DVI, not DVI to VGA), the other VGA

Extended desktop working, display on both monitors

If you do, what graphics card are you using, and what kexts?

I have an x1600 Pro, and after spending a week tryin to get it to work, it's going in the bin, and I need another card :D

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

In leo:

EVGA 8600GT, 256mb, dual DVI, dual monitors, plug, unplug, detect displays, rotation, resolution, QE, Ci, everything. Haven't tested dual DVI usage, but dual VGA (with converters) and DVI+VGA I do every day.

In Tiger:

PNY Verto 256mb Geforce 5200FX PCI (Yes, PCI, not PCIe or AGP, but old school PCI), dual VGA ports, did dual VGA perfect in tiger.

Asus Geforce 6600GT 256mb AGP, DVI+VGA (dual VGA, DVI+VGA, worked great in tiger. Haven't run AGP in leo yet)

I bought an 8500GT based card (Asus EN8500GT Silent/HTP/512M/A), put it in the machine, rebuilt off Kalyway 10.5.2, and it worked OOB!
