  1. OK this might be a long shot... but could you pleasssssse send me the patched bios firmware? I flashed original ones (I thought the builtin tool would backup old one) and got no way to go back... Thanks in advance.
  2. Thank you! Very easy to get it work: Patch layout-id in DSDT. I have ALC889 and use layout-id=1. Run -120.command.
  3. I am having exactly the same problem here. My motherboard is Asus P8P67 Deluxe of which audio is ALC889. Now the audio looks disabled. I am using a patched DSDT and patched AppleHDA. This happened after I installed a security update of ML (around 1.5 GB).
  4. Is that possible to upgrade to final release? or do I have to reinstall?
  5. I messed up my system after a upgrade to 10.7.4. So I want to make fresh install of ML. However I am not sure if it's a good time to do it. Is DP4 good/stable enough? Also, when the final release comes can I do a upgrade or do I have to reinstall again? Thanks!
  6. My graphic card is NVidia 560ti (Gigabyte). I have it works well with AGMP enabled (played WoW, Skyrim, etc..) However sometimes when I played those big games my system freeze. I am trying to figure out why and I guess it's something to do with the GPU. In NovaBench it gets Okay performance but scores is very low. I see others' reports with same performance, the Graphics Tests Score should be around 1200. But mine is only 400+. Does anyone know why?
  7. Is there any way I can see the frequency of GPU so I can better tweak AGMP maybe...
  8. Looks like no one has the answer... however does anyone know where to check logs for this?
  9. My graphics card works fine for a while with 2 DVI outputs. Recently I got a new TV and want to use the mini HDMI output. When I plugged all 3 monitors, only one DVI works. The other DVI and the HDMI don't work. If I unplug one DVI then the HDMI has signal. However it's not 1080p. If I go to System preferences -> Displays and set the TV to 1080p. My main DVI LCD turns to light blue and the TV turns to black. Sometimes the TV will have output of my desktop (not full screen) but everything freeze. I have to reset my box. Any idea? Thanks!

I did not take a screenshot. The options I checked were: Utilities HWMonitor HWMonitor Menu [*]FakeSMC [*]Misc Plug-Ins Intelthermal [*]Graphics Card Plug-Ins NVClockX [*]Motherboard Plug-Ins Winbond W836x When it's panic the backtrace shows something wrong within FakeSMC and WinbondW836x.

Hi, Finally I used a bootable installation usb disk to boot into Lion installation. Download a new FakeSMC from http://www.projectosx.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=1643 (the top one). Delete the FakeSMC.kext from /S/L/E and put all new kexts from the new one into /S/L/E. Now system can boot. However something is wrong. System menu on the top right corner seems to be broken. when I run: sudo kextcache -prelinked-kernel I got: W836x.kext - no compatible dependency found for org.netkas.FakeSMC. How can I fix that? Thanks!

I got kernel panic after install the newest version (2012-03-06) from Github. Does anybody know how to restore it...?
  13. Hi, I downloaded and installed NWN2 and it launched well. However I cannot change the resolution - it's stuck at 800x600. I tried to modify the .ini file but it went back to 800x600 after running. In the in-game graphic pane I can see a full list of supported resolutions. But whichever I applied it just went back to 800x600. My graphic card is GeForce 560Ti. Does anybody encounter the same problem?
  14. Hi, I applied the SpeedStep patch for 10.7.3 and it works fine. However with MSRDumper I can see there are only 2 steps are used: Feb 15 00:17:57 Zhangs-MacPro kernel[0]: MSRDumper CoreMulti(43) Feb 15 00:17:57 Zhangs-MacPro kernel[0]: MSRDumper PStatesReached: 16 43 Feb 15 00:17:57 Zhangs-MacPro kernel[0]: MSRDumper CoreMulti(16) Feb 15 00:17:57 Zhangs-MacPro kernel[0]: MSRDumper PStatesReached: 16 43 Also in the boot process I can see: ACPI CPUs not found: C-States not generated !!! ACPI CPUs not found: P-States not generated !!! I know this is not a problem about SpeedStep patch. From what I've read I guess I need to put some SSDT.aml file or DSDT.aml file under /Extra. However I don't know how to get them... Thanks for helping!
