1. This didn't work for me. In my case my build in ethernet is defective. When I try to install the kext driver it just freezes my computer. I have to use a RealTek USB wifi dongle. DSDT-IOReg.zip
2. I know this is late but don't select voodoohd. If you are using my dsdt then use the ALC888 and the patched ALC8xx kexts from the iAtkos menu. Assuming your board matches my kext audio will be working.
3. Thats just it I don't have AppleIntelGraphicsPowerManagement.kext, I only have the AppleGraphicsPowerManagement.kext so I was somewhat confused by what was suggested. Yes I agree the improvements so far is big, but its barely as fast as my 7300gs 256meg card so I think there is much more improvement that can be made. I'm just not sure what settings should be set for this card in the AGPM.kext (what is the max settings this card can take?).
4. I'm using smbios of an iMac9,1. I ended up adding the device id for my card in the AGPM (but not the AppleIntelGraphicsPowerManagement) and I did notice an improvement (Cinebench went from 1.49 to 8.33). I still feel I can get better performance.
5. I have this card and I too am having difficulties getting full graphics performance out of it. I did enable the cards ID via the Info.plist but performance is on par with my 7300gs 256meg card.

8400gs

I picked up the Asus 8400gs 1Gb DDR3 card. At first I only got 1024x768 but after modifying the Info.list in one of the kext files I got it working fully. One thing that is lacking is the performance. I actually got better performance with my 7300gs 256meg card. Still trying to get the performance to improve before dealing with the hdmi.
7. All I did to resolve the app store issue was delete the /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/NetworkInterfaces.plist and reboot. After the first few reboots I kept getting KP but it worked itself out and everything is working........minus sleep. Because of sleep I'm sticking with SL for now until the sleep issue can be fixed.
8. Try iAtkos L1 or check out Tonymac's new tool ##### http://tonymacx86.blogspot.com/2011/10/uni...lion-using.html
9. There's a networking plist file (name escapes me) you need to delete. After rebooting it will rebuild itself and place your ethernet as eth0. That fixed it for me. My only other issue is Sleep will not work. Screen goes black but everything keeps running. Double clicking the mouse brings the screen back as if nothing happened. Edit: This is the file you need to delete: /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/NetworkInterfaces.plist After I did this I had some bluetooth issues and KP but after a few restarts and getting bluetooth mouse/keyboard working it was fine. But still didn't resolve my sleep. App store and facetime work fine.
10. I have Lion installed using iAtkos L1. Had to use the Audio Rollback drive from ##### after upgrading to 10.7.2. I have a DSDT that Maldon assisted with that I use with SL and works fine with Lion. Graphics (7300GS) works and so does Networking but Sleep does not. (See my sig for hardware setup). Even though the motherboard states ALC883 chipset it actually uses the ALC888. If you patch your DSDT to use the ALC888 instead you may have better luck.
11. Maldon: I recently installed Lion via iAtkos L1. Everything works fine (graphics and sound via rollback method). Only thing not working is Sleep. I just get a blank black screen. I have attached my DSDT that I'm using from SL and kextstat. (Because I have a 7300GS nVidia card I have to boot into 32bit mode. Same machine booting up into SL works perfectly). Using build 1664 of Chameleon. The only other thing I did was try to bin patch the AppleRTC file. That didn't seem to help even after running the kextutility. Edit: I removed NullCPUPowermanagement.kext and ran Kextutil. Still no sleep. I also enabled C3 state and Drop SSDT. Still no sleep. dsdt.aml.zip kextstat.rtf kernel_log.rtf
12. I have the 965P-S3 rev3.3 board which is almost identical to this one. I'll have to give this a shot! Thanks!
13. I haven't done a deep sleep but I notice time to time that when I wake my machine up from a sleep I get the error that the removable device was not ejected properly. But my drives do mount back up fine and work without issues.
14. I can confirm this kext now works for me with Sleep. My rig is listed below. I'm using an eVGA USB3 NEC chipset card with a Seagate GoFlex USB3 external drive. Time Machine backups will be much quicker now. Whoo hoo!!!
15. Maldon, I'm expected to inherit an ATi 5750 card. I'm currently using an nVidia 7300GS. Do I need to modify my DSDT with the cards device IDs or do I just need to follow Netkas' instructions posted here? http://netkas.org/?p=465 (add device-id to ati5000controller.kext)
