Allaon
I try OSX 10.4.5 by Maxxsus, but i cant use my INTEL PRO/100 VE and the Realtek ALC861. Reading this forum i find some useful information about IONetworkingFamily.kext and here i find the audio driver, but i cant understand how to install it: when i put them in the system directory the system became unbootable. I know i'm a newbye but please, help me! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/18552-osx-on-toshiba-satellite-a-100-153/ Share on other sites

Sam I Am Not
i don't remember which kext it was, but there is one that has 0x80801091 in it and you have to add 0x80801092 to get ethernet to work. Diablo63
Hi I have the nic (intel pro 100/ve) working on my toshiba a105-4054 w/ osx86 10.4.6 (jas) installed I edited the following file /system/library/extensions/ionetworkingfamily.kext/contents/plugins/appleintel6255x.kext/contents/info.plist How I got it to work is I copied it to my desktop and edited it with TextEdit I just added these #'s in with the others that were already there ven:8086 dev:1092 I saved the file and then dragged it back to where I copied it from (see above) I then moved the extensions.kextcache and exstensions.mkext to the trash and emptied it I then opened disk utility and highlighted the hard drive and clicked repair permissions I then restarted the laptop Now I'm surfing away Hopefully this will help you and anybody else Now all I need to figure out is the sound (alc861 v:10ec d:0861) and wireless (intel pro/wireless 3945abg v:8086 d:4222) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/18552-osx-on-toshiba-satellite-a-100-153/#findComment-171068 Share on other sites
