Apple releasing first public beta of OS X El Capitan today

fantomas

Just as it did last year with Yosemite, Apple is again launching a public beta for its latest version of OS X.

Announced at WWDC in June, this public beta will be available today at around 2PM ET.

You can install this public beta by registering at Apple's beta software program website - once it returns.

Hello. This is my fist post here. Has anyone experienced problems opening Facebook, Gmail and Wikipedia from Safari and Chrome? Since I installed the beta I'm not able to open those pages and I can't connect to the Mac Appstore as well. I've tested this problems in more than one Wi-Fi network and it remains the same.

Thanks from Chile ;)

no problems here, my friend. try to reinstall and if that doesnt fix it, open a topic in the post install section of el cap.

the new build was (still is?) 15A262c

but it seems that users running the previous version should be able to download it from Updates tab on the App Store.

somebody could confirm it, please?
