Apple releases OS X Yosemite GM Candidate 1.0 for developers

fantomas

Apple offers to developers the first Golden Master of OS X Yosemite.

Remember that the Golden Master means that the development of OS X Yosemite is completed but despite this, it remains to Apple to finalize the development of different software and features that accompany it, hence it's called "Candidate 1.0".

But it's not the first time, Apple already did it with OS X Mavericks.

This GM can be downloaded via App Store

I wish they would just release it already instead of all this foolishness and update as they go. The candidates are fine. I just hate the way these companies talk about a release 2 years in advance (sarcasm)....and you have to wait all that time before they produce it. The whole while they give you these little tidbits drving a user insane.

If these companies have a product that's going to make my computing experience more interesting and useful....quit the talk and put it out.

after DP 3  install had to remove some kext from extra folder using  Maverick. After install to get past the spinning ball. I think it's trying to load kext not available. also had to reinstall windows 10 on another drive.
