sawwal
Dear friends, Whether you can help me with such question. I have a computer with NVidia nForce 6100-405 chipset. I do not have separate videocard so I use onboard graphics. How I have understood, on such computer Mac OSx86 Leopard 10.5.2 can be installed only in the virtual machine, not natively. However, I have AMD Sempron 3000+ S754 Palermo CPU (with SSE3). I have downloaded "prepared virtual machine" but when I start it (in fresh VMware Server 1.0.5, inside Windows XP SP2) in "-v" mode, after the "AppleGenericPCATADriver: CMD 0x1f0, CTR 0x3f4, IRQ 14" process is frozen. If I correctly understand, a problem in my CPU. However, this way: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=96277 demands to download Mac OSx86 10.4.8 Tiger, to install it, use "Marvin's AMD Utility" to patch it, and only after that to install Leopard 10.5.2. Whether there Is more simple way? I have no DVD-RW drive, but I can install any virtual disk program. Whether I can use DAEMON Tools + Kalyway_10.5.2_DVD_Intel_Amd.iso image? Or there is the best variant (Leopard-10.5.2-AMD-EFI-Rev2.iso, Leo4Allv2 Universal 10.5.2 AMD/INTEL[sSE2/SSE3], Leo4All-10.5.2 Universal AMD/INTEL[sSE2/SSE3], Zephyroth AMD 10.5.2 Rev.1 ...) ? Perhaps, it is possible to use other virtual machine program, instead of VMware? VMware is very "gluttonous". Many thanks for the help.
