Hi all,

I just plan to buy a HP mini-note 2133 and I have checked the website of VIA(http://www.via.com.tw/en/products/processors/c7-m/performance_by_design.jsp), it claims that VIA C7-M processor is based on x86 architectur and also support SSE2&SSE3.

Here is my question, can I install OSx Leopard on this mini laptop? or someone is already success with it...

Thanks in advance...

I came across this thread while looking for the answer myself, and I sure it's possible. In fact, I'm so sure I'm going to purchase one and do it myself. I don't know if this has been answered in any other thread but this is the first result in a google search; however, in the same search I found this:

While greeted with heaps of initial skepticism, forum jockeys over at OQO Talk now seem convinced that a junior member by the name of TRF has successfully hacked the OQO to run OS X Leopard. Adding a video filmed by Mr. Blurry Cam didn't hurt the cause. TRF's OQO is setup in a dual-boot Vista / OS X mode which boots Leopard in about 2 minutes and 30 seconds. WiFi, sound, power management and Bluetooth... it's all there with applications popping with serious snap. The only thing missing at the moment is WWAN access which TRF is now testing. While not yet a "plug and play" hack, it's "definitely doable," he says. Perhaps, but we'll need more details to say the least.

The OQO is powered by a VIA C7 1.6GHz/1.5GHz/1.2GHz processor with 1GB of memory and comes with either a 120GB, 60GB or 40GB HD with 64GB or 32GB SSD options.

It’s processor is no doubt the limiting factor when running Leopard and during the demo video

...

The hack isn’t for your average user so I wouldn’t rush right out and buy an OQO just for the hope of putting Leopard on it because it’s harder than it looks, actually, no, it’s harder than that.
