MaDT
hi everyone, I just finished installing JaS 10.4.8 on my P4 2,53GHz with ASUS P4P800 motherboard. Everything works fine except my graphic card. I cant change resolution to any other than 1024x768, not even in apple.boot.plist. It just gives me an out of frequency error in my screen, thought it is supported. No I am looking for a kernel extension wchich is compatible with my card and allows me changing resolution up to 1280x1024. I have already found this http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...rt=#entry312424 but the download link doesnt work anymore, so I cant get that package. Can anybody please help? Thank you! Lactobacillus P
Get yourself a nice Nvidia 6600 (geforce 6 is preferred on Tiger) and use Natit to get the card properly recognized. I am running the same motherboard with a Geforce 6600 GT AGP card and it is doing great, prey & doom3 run well! I used a 9600 Radeon before but I had artifacts and needed to use a specialized callistoFB thing to get resolution and QE and CI going. Nvidia is the graphicscard of choice on Tiger and Leopard!
