Im running Kalyway 10.5.3 on a gateway gt5012 and the sound card is an intel Sigmatel 9220 audio codec... I installed the patcher and it did not work... in sys pref it says that there is no built in audio.... Any ideas on what else I could do to get my audio working for at least the output

Not that I have a Realtek HD, but I am having sound issues on iatkops v7 10.5.7 as well. All I know about my sound card is that it's 16-bit sound blaster pro compatible .. w.. with harmon kardon speakers... incase your asking this is a HP zv5240us.

Also, the OS doesn't even detect a sound card.

Hi,

I have a driver for Realtek, Sigmatel, Cmedia, Analog Devices (SoundMAX) and Conexant.

I have a SoundMAX (Analog Devices) card and it works perfectly.

I am running Mac OS X 10.4.8 (Tiger).

Please comment if it works.

All you have to do is download the attatchment. Unzip it and install it.

It got my SoundMAX card working with mac.

Thanks, Machead

Hi,

I installed this but it's only made things worse. I did get output from inbuilt speakers and from headphones by switching in System Preferences > Sound. Now I can only get it out of the inbuilt speaker. Anybody know how I can remove this driver I just installed?

Thanks.

my sound card is Sigmatel STAC9227X

i installed AzaliaAudio.pkg, then i got volume controls, but sound wasn't working

then i installed VoodooHDA.kext and even used AppleHDA audio patcher 1.20, and now i've got my output working

How do you know which realtek audio kext you need? Mine is an internal one as far as I know. It supports up to 7.1 channels. That is all I know. If you know Clevo its a Clevo M860tu

Any chances some genuis compile it to run on 64 bits??? or i'm been too stupid asking it? cause on sl 32 bits loads ok and the sound is really cristal clear, i dont mind about the microphone(got one on my usb camera) or how many ouputs can handle.....stereo is enought for me... the true the quality of audio is far far better than voodoohda, don't ask me why

so can I have some hope?

Thanks to all!

Well hello everyone. I'm new in this kind of forum. So excuse for my soon silly questions :D

Yesterday I've tried to install OS X from iDeneb 10.5.7 by myself and with a little help from experienced user friend tough I have to get another VGA card related to undetectable issue, because of my 4670 Radeon VGA series in iDeneb. Okay, below, these are my questions..

Case1

The problem is sound/speaker, it get buzzy sound or scracth sound from my speaker, whether I play my songs in iTunes or just system interface sounds..

I've tried to open system preference > audio and the damn display showed these things..

information printed below, along with a description of your

system configuration and what you were doing at the time that

the kernel panic occured. We apologize for the inconvenience.

(and then. hang off :D )

Case2

I've tried to open user manual of my motherboard, and get nothing about sound chipset information. How do I'll get such a sound chipset information? And what the benefit of this kind of info?

But I opened my PC Wizard yesterday, and found these data below:

Device Audio : ATI Technologies SB600 High Definition Audio Controller

Device Audio : ATI Technologies R700 Audio Device [Radeon HD 4000 Series]

Audio Playback : IDT Audio1

Audio Playback : IDT Audio2

Audio Playback : Microsoft Sound Mapper

Audio Recording : IDT Audio

Any good solutions?. Need help :D :D :D
