ZX81
Just installed 10.4.4 from 10.4.3 ... THANK YOU MAXXUSS Install went fine, used mach_kernel.all After repairing disk permissions, and playing around I ran Xbench 1.2 before rebooting This is weird I can see the openGL test now on Xbench. I took a video of it; with the window static it displays a static picture; if I drag the window around I can see it refreshing and the open GL shapes moving Xbench itself seems to time out and give a score of 6. Drop out the open GL test and I get 67.4 (in 10.4.3 I got 59 with the opengl test showing black screen; didnt test with opngl toggled off in 10.4.3) About this mac gives: Type: VGA-Compatible Controller Bus: PCIe VRAM (Total): 256 MB Vendor: nVIDIA (0x10de) Device ID: 0x0099 Revision ID: 0x00a1 Kernel Extension Info: No Kext Loaded Displays: Display: Resolution: 1024 x 768 Depth: 32-bit Color Core Image: Not Supported Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Quartz Extreme: Not Supported Its nvidia 7800GTX on dell 9300. I followed the maxxuss procedure to the letter regarding kernel extensions, so nothing funky going on, its staightforward 10.4.4 install Does this anomaly suggest more nvidia compatibilty? Anyone want any other information form this install beofre I reboot?
