Ongeloof
Is it worth forking over £15 for one of these? Would i let me use a second monitor on my iMac? Think Mark
hecker
I don't know about the iMac, but I can use a second monitor with my MacBook without problems.

EddM
Basically: yes, it will. I use one of those adapters with my MacBook whenever I'm traveling and there happens to be a free monitor wherever I'm staying (which is surprisingly often). It's proved to be very useful. I dunno why Apple didn't just put a regular DVI port on the back though -- could anyone shine any light on a technical reason for this? I've not tried it with my iMac, but the Mini-DVI port is exactly the same and should work as such.
