westwaerts Posted March 29, 2008 Share Posted March 29, 2008 you can open the apple 10.5.2 update ( you installed) in pacifist, check every file, installed, with the appropriate replacement thats safe for hacks. but i ensure you, you are faster in reinstalling. macgirl Posted March 29, 2008 Share Posted March 29, 2008 Probably the new Kernel and the AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext are making your computer to fail, boot from the Installation DVD and run Terminal, copy the kernel that is on the DVD and remove the AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext from your disk.
