bighouse Posted March 28, 2008 Share Posted March 28, 2008 Jas 10.4.6 dual booting with XP from HDD of a Dell Precision M60 P4 laptop. Darwin boot loader works as designed and dual booting is easy. This is working great but it was extremely difficult for me to get it all working and I dont' want to muck it up. Dell laptops have removeable hard drives which live in this little caddy that slides in like a drawer. On a second hard drive, I'd like to install Linux and swap the HDDs out when I want to. Question is, will the Linux install mess with the Darwin boot loader and if it won't, will Darwin BL see the new Linux install?
