restart the pc and boot from disk, once at the installer open terminal and type:

fdisk -e /dev/rdisk0s1 (rdisk0s1 being your disk, could be rdisk 2s1)(you figure it out)

flag 1

then i think thats it, just type "quit" then type "reboot" and take your disk out...

if there was a nother step im missing someone please correct me

I assume you did a dualboot install, didn't you?

There is so much issues with all this booting stuff. My recommendation that helps in 98% of the cases:

install Leo to a separate harddisk. Don't spend your time trying to fix dualboot issues.

Would you please provide some information about the motherboard you are using?

In case you got an ASUS or an INTEL things are much easier. Since you can hit F8 during initialization of the BIOS and choose which of harddrive to boot.

It should be as follows.

fdisk - e /dev/rdisk0

flag 1

update

write

quit

reboot

If you continue receiving this b0 error, I suggest that you reinstall Leopard, however after you format/erase your OS X partition, go straight into terminal and enter the above, however do not type reboot. Then just continue with the installation, making sure you select the correct options from the customize menu. (Try to install as little as possible)

thanks nkear5!

i put the install-cd in the drive and erased the partition. then I gone in the terminal and wrote the following code:

fdisk - e /dev/rdisk0

flag 1

update

write

but I get the error "Device could not be accessed exculsively.

What can I do?

Please heeeeeellp!
