iMiXIMi Posted March 26, 2008 Share Posted March 26, 2008 I followed all the steps to dual boot but when i get to using disk utility i go to erase and format to Mac OSX JOurnaled and it says preparing to erase. That box closes and then it renames it to disk0r05. And it says that it is a MS-DOS format. I keep trying to format it but it keeps sayin MS-DOS Any Suggestions. If the drive is large, you may have to change the partition type to GUID in order to format an HFS+ volume.Select the drive itself in the Disk Utility list and click Info.
