DerFlash
Hi all, just tried the new updates and backed up my kernel and AppleSMBIOS.kext before. After reboot the new kernel was not nessesary to be replaced. So uname -r shows the new 9.2.2 kernel :-) But after getting to my desktop without any things todo i get the info that "System extension cannot be used: AppleSMBios". So i'll now go and replace this kext. The kext is a package of other kexts. Any informations about WHAT kext of this package doesnt do it on osx86? Maybe one can merge the most new ones with some old?! My System: Dell Inspiron 6400 with ATI X1300 m Kalyway 10.5.1 Install Kalyway 10.5.2 Update (used Vanilla SSE3 Kernel before update) Did some Powermanagement-Kext-Replacements Greets Björn
