TimeMachine/Security Update 2008-002 on Dell Inspiron 6400

Hi all,

just tried the new updates and backed up my kernel and AppleSMBIOS.kext before.

After reboot the new kernel was not nessesary to be replaced. So uname -r shows the new 9.2.2 kernel :-)

But after getting to my desktop without any things todo i get the info that "System extension cannot be used: AppleSMBios". So i'll now go and replace this kext.

The kext is a package of other kexts. Any informations about WHAT kext of this package doesnt do it on osx86?

Maybe one can merge the most new ones with some old?!

My System:

Dell Inspiron 6400 with ATI X1300 m

Kalyway 10.5.1 Install

Kalyway 10.5.2 Update

(used Vanilla SSE3 Kernel before update)

Did some Powermanagement-Kext-Replacements
