aj.carrier Posted March 19, 2008 Share Posted March 19, 2008 Hi, i have downloaded both Azalia audio package and ALC883 package, with the Azalia package the speakers work with playing sound on my Acer laptop (with Jas10.4.8 installed) and with ALC883 package installed the headphone, line in and mic in sockets are working, but not the speakers. I Tried installing both, but if i install one then the other, they replace each other. Please help as i would like to be able to have both of these installed at the same time or some other way to get the spakers working and all the sockets. PLZ HELP!!! 'EDIT': Is there a possible way to merge both kexts together to make both speakers work and the sockets? I've been trying forever to get sound out of my internal speakers. EDIT: found the driver on my leo cd. anyway Ya i'm having the same exact issue as you and was wondering the same thing.
