parth750
Hello All, I have a Vostro 1400 (which I read is supposed to work flawlessly with it's audio). However, I'm having a lot of trouble - I can't seem to get any audio output at all. I've tried using the AppleHDA patcher (v1.16 and v.1.20) and simply dragging Sigmatel 9228 core dumps to the application. It says that SPDIF In/Out are not detected, then proceeeds to patch, and fails to work. I've made sure AppleAzalia is removed. I've also tried adding the kext on the first post by hand, using the 'kextload' command, to no avail. I can always see the sound bar, and can change the volume, but I can never actually hear anything. Am I doing the right things? Someone please help!!! parth750
Bump. Someone please help, this is the only thing preventing me from using OSX86, and it seems to work for everyone else with my hardware. At least could someone tell me how to load kexts correctly. Thanks in advance. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/94227-help-vostro-1400-not-working/#findComment-672800 Share on other sites
