Installing darwin bootloader after mac install?

Yeah same here the only way I can boot into my osx is bt changing the hdd priority in the bios and putting the orginal kalaway cd in. Its a huge hassle.

OSx86Tools enables you to install the bootloader of your choice...... :P

Yes I have tried that it fails every time.

 

Suggests that your OS X volume is not recognised as an active bootable volume.....

 

Boot from the Install DVD, go to Terminal within Disk Utility, and type the following:

fdisk -e /dev/rdisk0 (replace 0 with the appropriate HDD Disk Indentifier, found using Disk Utility and Get Info command)

flag 1

update

write

quit

reboot
