SDRacer48
Hi, I am currently "locking up" my Mac OS X Tiger 10.4.11 (software update to Jas 10.4.8) and I want it to boot up and run as fast as possible. My Specs: PC CHIPS M955g Mobo Intel Pentium 4 HT Prescott Processor [socket 478] (SSE3 capable) GSkill 2GB PC3200 DDR Ram MSI 128 MB NVIDIA FX 5200 Video Card 80 GB PATA (IDE) HDD Plus two drives with Data connected as SATA 1.5 My Questions: Will deleting unneccesary kexts increase boot time? Do you think it could harm my system beyond recovery if I remove one that is needed? What kexts would your recommend me removing (i.e. GMA900 and etc.)? Thanks in Advance for any info, Cody keep on macKIN' Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/92992-deleting-unneccessary-kexts/ Share on other sites
