See my sig. My default OS is XP. Then I installed Leo and finally Ubuntu. I am triple booting all this using XP bootloader boot.ini. I have yet to see another person on this forum who use boot.ini like I do. Simple and efficient. No need to mess with GRUB, Darwin etc. But to each their preferences.

When I installed Ubuntu, I loaded the bootloader ONLY to the partition when I installed Ubuntu and not the MBR. It all depends whether you want GRUB, Darwin or boot.ini

simple as hell, use disk utility to resize the OS X partition, reformat as ext3, install ubuntu, make sure grub is put on the ubuntu partition NOT the MBR, reboot into OS X, install rEFIt, away you go.

PM me if you need any help.
