DJ McG
Hello everyone, I downloaded and burned iATKOS v1.0i to a DVD. I put the DVD into the DVD Drive and reboot from the DVD the underscore flashes then spins. Then a message says 'Press any button to install Mac OS X or F8 for Options'. So I press enter to install and the Apple Logo Boot Screen Flashes then the PC reboots, if I boot with -v, same thing happens, same for -s -x and -F. It is a FRESH install of XP and 48GB of unallocated space for Leopard. I am currently downloading Kalyway to try that. It is at 74.7% after about 82 hours. Really slow! My specs are below. Is there anything I can do to fix this? PC Specs Toshiba Satellite A75 100GB Internal Hard Drive [44GB Windows XP Partition and 48GB Unallocated Partition for OS X Leopard] 448MB RAM Intel SSE3 Processor I think it has the same hardware as it did out of the box. And another question, how can I make a boot screen to which OS to boot into. Thanks, DJ McG P.S. I am going to be gone for about an hour or less maybe. I have to mow the lawn, then I am going to look to see if I have any DVD-R's instead of DVD+R's because I read this could fix the problem. kadeschs
I'm using an Satellite A75 similar to your hardware setup. I can't get past the "waiting on root drive" message.
