DjMikeS2K
Hey Nick, I have exactly the same laptop but I was unable to get Leopard (Iatkos) to even go to the installer... How did you do that ? What is the error that you get ?
DjMikeS2K
Well, you can forget about my previous post...Installing Leopard as we speak... I will have the results back to you before you can say.....well, whatever it is that you say As a side note...I see that you chose EFI...I didn't... DjMikeS2K
I tried....and failed miserably.... The only release that ran pretty good is JaS 10.4.8 if I don't install a video driver... Forget about the "2 wire trick" or the "1 wire trick"... So no luck so far...
Oboema
I also have some trouble installing kalyway 10.5.1 on this laptop. After booting in -x mode i can choose everything from the installer an it begins to instal but after the installation process the machine will boot from hd but after loeding a 20 sec the machine will reboot. The only thing i can see so quick is killing all processes. Any clue ????
zyg99
i have the same laptop and same problems... i downloaded almost all the releases from jas 10.4.8 till kalyway 10.5.6 and with any of them i wasn't able to get into the mac os. furthest i've got was the kernel panic after the install of 10.4.8 saying i have to restart my pc or the blue desktop screen without anything... is it even possible to install mac os on this laptop??? because i'm searching for the instructions and trying different ones for over a month now and no success at all... tnx for any useful info though, i would appreciate it
richardsonl91
I am having issues with the install process, after i select what I want installed it will either succeed then boot into a plain black screen with a small white hash mark, or it will say installation failed, can you tell me what to select? I have the exact same laptop as you with the exact same specs, and the only way it will boot to install screen for me is -x mode, Thanks alot!
