MetalMatrix
I'm having a problem. I have a Motorola HT820 Headset/Headphone. Under Kalyway 10.5.2, using bluetooth, the system detects and connects to the headset perfectly. After synchronizing, it gives me an option to connect using this item as a headset, headphone or both. Now the problem! I also have a Mac Book Pro running Tiger. When it synchronizes to the headset, it does not have an option stated above. It only connects through bluetooth as a headset and can't connect as a bluetooth headphone. (BIG difference in sound quality between headset and headphone). Is there any file I can pull of the Leopard installation and install on the Tiger installation so that it would recognize it as both a headset and headphone? (eg. like a kext file?) MetalMatrix
checked if you audio installed correctly in tiger . What do you mean? On tiger, audio works through both the built-in speakers and through headphones connected via the headphone port on the laptop. Tiger is a pre-installed image straight from Apple. westwaerts
i dont think that the bluetoothcontroller from leopard works with tiger, cause its a kernel extension. upgrade your MBP is a better way to have the feature.
