Ducttapelad
Does any one know the md5 sum for Ilife 08? Thanks in advance. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/91617-ilife-08-md5-sum/ Share on other sites
munky
why dont you just buy it? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/91617-ilife-08-md5-sum/#findComment-653713 Share on other sites
Dermatea
I have an iLife.dmg file that turns up the following: CRC: 1CBD6080 MD5: 2d42363e6a48f80ac081dea6acd2edf5 why dont you just buy it? What kind of comment is that? It's totally irrelevant. Ducttapelad just wanted to know a simple MD5 checksum. MD5 checksums are used to compare differences in files, usually to determine validity. munky
i think you know what i was getting at. why would you need an md5 if you had bought the real thing? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/91617-ilife-08-md5-sum/#findComment-654388 Share on other sites
Dermatea
Who knows? Maybe Ducttapelad here scratched his disc and some errors came up. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, even when no one else will. ~pcwiz
Yeah he's probably talking about a pirated copy, but if you pirated it you can never tell for sure. Every pirated file of iLife is different, the only way to find the exact MD5 would be to check in the description of the torrent or whatever you downloaded from. P.S. Also would like to make clear that these forums do not support pirating and neither do I I know, I know, Dermatea, he could have done something to his disc bla bla bla Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/91617-ilife-08-md5-sum/#findComment-654537 Share on other sites
Ducttapelad
I'll leave people to their own assumptions Is it possible i could get it from the Legit Leopard Retail disk for Iatkos using something like pacifist? Thanks for the information Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/91617-ilife-08-md5-sum/#findComment-654586 Share on other sites
~pcwiz
No, you couldn't because iLife is not included with a retail Leopard disc. If you have restore CDs or DVDs that came with a mac that came with iLife 08 however, you could probably grab it from there Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/91617-ilife-08-md5-sum/#findComment-654647 Share on other sites

Ducttapelad
I would if it were any other piece of software, but I am saving for a real macintosh as opposed to my little hackintosh and iLife comes on it because of that I am not willing to put forth alot of money. If it were final cut on the other hand I would buy it because I could use it even after I got a real mac Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/91617-ilife-08-md5-sum/#findComment-663568 Share on other sites
