Hi I ..searched the forum could not find an answer...My laptop configuartion is below and its is vista capable... can I install eiter tiger or leopard on it or do it need to upgrade any hardware....Im a media major student...I really neeed a mac but too expensive... any help appreicated thanks in advance

This is a critical part to knowing which install to get.

You're running AMD which narrows down your choices alot.

Check with CPUz to see whether your processor is SSE2 or SSE3, and go from there.

On the instruction box of the CPUZ ..its says 3D Now, SSE, SSE2 SSE3, X86-64

 

so is it compitable?

I most probably going to upgrade my memory before the installation. Just a few question

 

1. When I install the mac os will it wipe out my XP os? or it will dual booting?

2. If I install the mac os.. will it run fast or slow?

3.If I install programms like photoshop will it run smoothly?
