bigplrbear Posted March 4, 2008 Share Posted March 4, 2008 Hey all, I managed to get Mac OS X 10.4.6 installed on my machine. Everything works right out of the box... Except for my AC97 sound card. I tried loading the built-in AppleAC97 kext file, but it doesn't work. Here's my system specs- AMD Sempron 3400+ @ 2.0ghz 512Mb of RAM ATI radeon xpress 200 graphics card Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Good luck! hello i have installed Mac OS X 10.5.1 on my pc and my audio not work my motherboard is msi 945gzm3-L i tried appleac97audio.kext but not work can you help me with that . Common Sense Posted March 9, 2008 Share Posted March 9, 2008 Im going to point you in what I think is the right direction, go to this thread: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...0&hl=azalia first try ALC883Audio.mpkg.zip and then if that doesnt work try AzaliaAudio.pkg.zip, you could also post for help in that thread someone probably knows how to make your sound work.
