silverfacechamp
I had the same problem. I used PowerISO in Win XP Pro to burn. Kalyway 10.5.1. Mobo is Intel DF965GF, Pentium D, 2gb PC2 Ram. Install to SATA Seagate. XD enabled on MOBO in BIOS. I'm interested to know what causes this. resin
I had the same problem and it was because I selected vanilla kernel but didnt have the compatible processor/chipset. Try reinstalling without selecting vanilla kernel, worked for me. jet73
Do you have SSE3? I got the same results with my install. I thought it was because I only have SSE2. jet73
most of the forums say burn at 1x or 2x. This seems to be necessary for some compilations. I did a 10.4.11 disk a 8x. and it didn't work properly because some of the menu options were missing. then I burn the same disk at 2x and it had everything working.
