lebidou Posted March 3, 2008 Share Posted March 3, 2008 Hello, I tried to get this card working but I don't understand enough in how ATI cards work. I tried the kexts for that post I changed the dev ids in ATIinject.kext ATIRadeonX1000GAdriver.bundle as told by borisbadenov. I also put my EDID in ATIinject.kext. And all I get is a strangly splited screen : This is the best result I got for the moment. I can change resolution thou. I tried Sphyrna and Alopias Framebuffer, but always got black screen. Wormy seems to be the one. I tried Natit and ATYinject but got black screen too. When I put my devid in ATIRadeonX1000.kext, I get KP. The dev and vendor id are 7284 1002 I don't want to flash the card to change because I need to use Windows too. Can someone help me please ? I had to midify some kexts with an hex editor to change devid to 7284. I haven't tried dual screen yet. Maybe some values in ATIinject are wrong. File is attached. I attached the modified kexts if it can help. I have the same card and I have not had any success getting QE/CI working on my Amilo Xi 1554. Please have you made more progress since then? A lot of people are counting on you, me for one! But I'm back again, with news for you: I gave a try to the latest ATILead. And the screen isn't streched no more, and I still have resolution changing. But, I can't have 32bits color depth above 1024x640 resolution and System Profiler shows only 4 Mo of VRAM. If I try 1280x800 (which is my native resolution) then only thousands of color is available and I get a lot of glitches (I'll post pics later) I'm gonna talk to Slice (who's developping ATILead and an alternative Framebuffer) to see if he knows more about these problems.
