Can't burn anymore

Without any reasons I'm not even able to burn nothing anymore on my Kaly 10.5.2. Not with Toast 8.0.3 neither with dd neither with Burn.

At the start of the burning process Leopard freezes, no mouse, no keyboard, nothing works; I have only to reset my pc, and the blank CD/DVD is still blank.

 

Note:

some weeks ago I can burn with toast with no problems;

booting the same pc in Vista the burner works ok with nero;

my burner is an LG GSA-4166B PATA.

 

Any suggest?
