mikeyjj
hey, i installed leopard on a S-ATA harddrive under the AHCI controller, if i want to boot into windows, i have to go into bios and change it to the IDE controller in order to work, else i get a BSOD. i know you cant install AHCI drivers (correct me if i am wrong) once windows has installed, but is there a way to install IDE controller drivers for Leopard??? Help would be greatly appreshiated! thanks hardware... western digital 500gb SATA II Asus M2A-VM ATI 690 chipset AMD X2 +3800 @ 2.4 ghz 2 gb OCZ vista upgrade ram
Gujal
Both Leopard and Vista support AHCI natively. However XP does not support AHCI natively I run a dual boot XP and Leopard. My controller is set to AHCI. I had to install XP by pressing F6 when it asks for mass storage driver and used Intel Matrix Driver Floppy. Works fine without any issues In your case you would have to use ATI SB600 RAID/AHCI Controller Driver V2.5.1540.34 for WinXP&WinXP64bit during install
