Hi,

I'm gonna buy a new laptop and I think it'll be the Zepto Znote 3215W.

I'd like to know whether I'll be able to install Leopard on it.

It has the following specs:

15,4" WXGA 1280x800

Intel® GMA X3100

2.00 GHz Intel® Core™2 Duo T7250 800MHz 2MB

160GB 5400umdr SATA Festplatte

Zepto Zpro N-Standard (NBG) (which is Atheros AR 5008)

2048MB (2x1024) DDR2 800/PC6400 SODIMM SAMSUNG DVD-RW DL

Intel® 965GM + GMCH

RealTek ALC268

Here's the data sheet: http://www.zepto.dk/Files/15_3215W_datasheet_1.0_ENG.pdf

Now what I guess:

CPU - no problem

graphic-card - should be working with iatkos. with kalway, too? on which resolution?

HDD, Atheros WLAN - should be working

Samsung DVD-drive - I don't know

Intel Chipset - should also work

Realtek Audio - should be Ok with a patch

So I think Leo should run on this Laptop or did I forget anything important? What about sleep?

I just don't want to spend money for a better laptop and Leo doesn't work again like on my stupid Fujitsu Siemens.

Of course it'd be great if someone had this laptop and could tell me how it works, but I'm afraid that there aren't many Zepto laptops out there.

Thx in advance

Matze
