demoniac
Hi! What exactly is removed in the Kalyway-release? I can't seem to get Finder in my language (norwegian) only English. And for some reason the background is orange? Is this a bug with the installer? Isn't there anyway that someone with some skills can modify a original retail Leopard to work with vanilla kernel... just a EFI-patch, no {censored}? You know, make a ISO that's almost fully original, just with a EFI-patch, so that it'll boot. (Btw. my Kalyway-install crashes when I update from software-update, when I reboot after update, I just get the "press power button to reset"-message) And where is JaS? He had the greatest Tiger-DVD's.. No junk, just plain Tiger with some slight mods. I don't want any "bits of hip-hop" or anything. I want a plain retail, Dual-Layer Leopard modified to work with a PC.. Isn't that possible? Gujal
You can make one yourself using the retail OSX DVD by following Brazilmac instructions. demoniac
But can I make one that's as good as retail, it will take a dual layer disc and so on? I would really like to create a Leopard disc that's like the original, only with EFI_guid and Natit. Will I need to have the "vanilla-kernel" option? Or will that install itself with the retail-disc.
