ndhoste Posted February 20, 2008 Share Posted February 20, 2008 I have successfully updated my kalyway 10.5.1 install with the 10.5.2 and Graphics Update, but I am having issues with my 8800 GT video card. My understanding is that I would no longer need the nvinject kext with theofficial graphics update, so I removed it, rebooted, installed the Leoaprd graphics update, but I have no support--the monitor is stuck on 1024 x 768, no quartz, etc... Do I need to keep nvinject installed? If not, is there something else I need to remove / modify? I reinstalled nvinject, which turns things back to normal, but I thought that the graphics update made this unnecessary. Am I missing something completely--I've searched high and low around the forum but I am still unclear? Please help! Thanks!
