dornier
Hi everyone, I followed profit42's install guide using the macosx_10.4.3_8f1111_for_dtk_userdvd.dmg. I'm running an Intel Celeron D 326 2.53 CPU which is SSE3 and SSE2 capable. How do I know if the OSX86 version I'm running is SSE3 pure or patched for SSE2 CPU's? Thanks, GP Running MSI 915GLM-V motherboard, Kingston 512MB DDR333,MAT{censored}A DVD-RAM LF-D310, and a 40GB IBM HD. 10.4.3 according to "about this mac" Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/8883-i-have-a-sse3-cpu-how-do-i-know-if-my-osx86-is-sse3-enabled/ Share on other sites
jbjonas
If you used the latest JaS patch, then it installed with SSE2->SSE3 translation. You can remove that specific SSE3 patch from your kernel using instructions from JaS's original post, and use your processor's SSE3 functionality. http://win2osx.net/forum/showthread.php?t=2351 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/8883-i-have-a-sse3-cpu-how-do-i-know-if-my-osx86-is-sse3-enabled/#findComment-55201 Share on other sites
Krazubu
You don't need to remove anything, the SSE3 emu will only activate if your CPE is not SSE3 capable Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/8883-i-have-a-sse3-cpu-how-do-i-know-if-my-osx86-is-sse3-enabled/#findComment-55299 Share on other sites
