Leopard 10.5.2 with Kalyway Updates crashes after waking up from sleep mode

Before I've updated the Leopard from 10.5.1 to 10.5.2 the sleep mode worked very well...

But after the kalyway updates 10.5.2 (combo + vanilla kernel) the system freezes after waking up...

I can see the desktop but when i click on a icon on the dock/desktop, the system dosn't respond any more... and mostly the mouse pointer freezes and i have to do a reset...

Any Ideas?

Thanks! :D

I am having a similar problem - when my machine wakes from sleep - Fonts on the screen look really bad.

not sure about the 1st post, but 'bad fonts' in the 2nd post might be fixed by putting your video connector into the other video port on your video card, if your video card has two outputs.

:guitar: Nopes jason ... I am using a laptop ...no chance of the "video port" factor coming into play here ...

Besides i have a weird problem - every other time i start the laptop, I end up with a Full white screen, just after the blue screen...

One more thing, the whole boot up procedure has slowed down like crazy  ... takes a whole 2 minutes plus to boot the system. I am not sure what the problem is ... any suggestions??? :(
