tjfear
I have a successful install of 10.5.2 Kalyway (10.5.1 w/ ComboUpdate), but I must have missed or clicked the wrong driver when installing because my on board sound doesn't work. Is there a package out there for Realtek AC97 on board audio? Everyone says it works right out of the box, but I (being stupid) probably missed it. So if someone could link me to a file or something, that'd be great.

tjfear
Doesn't seem to fix anything. Thanks for the response though. Anyone else?
mtotho
what is the name of ur realtek chip. It is not ac 97, that not the name they use. It is ALC 88X or 26X or something. Look up ur board model that board has alc 888.. go to x labs and find a codec and reapply it.
amb7247
Dunno man my audio worked out of the box with 10.5.1 and I have the realtek HD audio. The only thing I can't get working is my ethernet that run off the Marvel Yukon gigabit ethernet controller. Need a driver for this one.
