I've been holding off on installing my 8800GT 512MB until 10.5.2 came out and the drivers were included. Is there anything I need to do to make it work now that I'm upgraded to 10.5.2 and have the GFX update? I'm wondering if I need a new version of Nvinject or anything like that?

Thanks!

Good to know. I was thinking that might happen and I could have saved myself a TON OF HEADACHE last night by just waiting a couple days. Turns out I could have waited just a day.

I can't find it on the tpb. I know you can't post a link, but what should I search for? I've alreay tried "10.5.2", "OS X update" "leopard patch", I can't find anything...help!

Lol I can never find anything on this forum, it's unbelievable how bad the search is. Is this what you're looking for? http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=87078 it's got instructions and a link to the update.

No, I've read that already. I'd be willing to try that if it would work on a non-efi hackintosh. What I was origionaly looking for was the link for TPB that would get me the updated DVD ISO since I assume that's why this thread was opened.

Updated perfectly...

First reboot after the update, the system gets restarted after a very slow boot... then the boot gets very slow... but after instaling the Kalyway Kernel (patched), the system is OK.

Graphics update is OK to.

Sounds like good news. I tried the Netkas way twice, but both times ended up with kernel panic. Can't wait to get home and try this.

BTW, if you're looking for it on the Bay, look for [ kalyway_hack_10.5.2ComboUpdate ].

::UPDATE::

So I just downloaded ^that and installed. My system hung up on the restart, right after I hit the restart button, I let it sit for like twenty minutes cause I was afraid to f*ck anything up. But then I just forced to restart, system booted then restarted and on the second time everything went fine. Sweet! Using 10.5.2!

Worked fine updating iAtkos 1.0i MBR install.

Slow start,a little nerve wracking and boring.

Oddly, after a few restarts it dropped the kernel (I got stuck at Darwin prompt, and wouldn't respond to any commands) but after reinstall of Kalyway kernel, no trouble.
