shoresjustinlee
I am wanting to know if I can install Leopard(10.5.1) on my HP dv9715nr. Any suggetions would be great. If you are in need of more specifications please let me know. Also, if this is not posted in the correct are than please direct me to a more appropriate place to post. Here is a list of my HP's Specs. CPU Name: AMD Turion 64 X2 Mobile TL-60 Package: Socket S1(638) Technology: 65nm Family: F Model: 8 Stepping: 2 Instructions: MMX(+), 3DNow!(+), SSE, SSE2, SSE3, X86-64 Frequency: 2000 MHz HT Link: 800 MHz Cores: 2 Threads: 2 Motherboard Manufacturer: Quanta Model: 30D1 85.24 Chipset: NVIDIA nForce 560 Rev. A2 Southbridge: NVIDIA nForce 560 BIOS Brand: Hewlett-Packard BIOS Version: F.25 RAM Manufacturer: Mosel Type: DDR2 Size: 2048 MB Channels: Dual DRAM Frequency: 333.4 MHz HDD Manufacturer: Samsung Capacity: 250GB Interface: Serial ATA 1.5Gbps Partitions All are on DISK 0 Vista (C:) 149.95 GB NTFS HP Recovery (D:) 11.91 GB NTFS Unallocated 75.38 GB OS Windows Vista Home Premium Not sure how helpful that the list will be, but please let me know if more is needed. I have tried putting in an original 10.5.1 in my CD/DVD drive and then restarted the computer and set BIOS to boot from CD/DVD. I set the Unallocated Partition to Active and when booted the screen would say something like "NO OS FOUND". So I set Vista (C:) back to active and booted. The screen would be black and drive sounded like it was trying to read disk and then would start to load Vista. I found a torrent that said Mac OS X 10.5.1 for AMD SSE2/SSE3 (32 bits) and started downloading this. Will post what happens when I am done with it. If I am on the right track then great, but if not could someone point me in the right direction. Thank you.
