venorm
I am not a mac professional (my mac is from today hehe) but i have the same cpu. There ist a golden patch so that you can use ur quadcore cpu. Otherwise you need a cpus=1 option in the bootloader. The mainboard should also work. The hdd and dvddrive have sata, thats important. I also have an 250GB sata hdd but from samsung. So i can say it should work fine. For the other components i cannot say if they will run or not, use the search in the forum or wait until you have more posts form others. Good luck with your homemac
nate256
you can get the Q6600 at tigerdirect for a lot cheaper! good CPU!! idk but just make sure the Mother Board is Micro idk if 2 gigs of ddr3 is better than say 8 gigs of ddr2? but for 138 dollars you can get 8 gigs of ddr2 i guess it depends on what you are doing and your budget too. also make sure the Mobo can use DDR3. Good Luck
