Hello all, First I would like to thank this awesome community! Extremely helpful. Real quick, I was able to install Kaly OSX on a Dell E1705 with some very minor problems. Yes, I did experience the B0 Error, but this was quickly fixed by reinstalling OSX, opening terminal after the partition which I had set to MBR this time, going through the whole fdisk, Flag 1, saving and quiting. And one quick check through the customize menu for the partition which was still set to GUi but I selected MBR again and vioula, now I don't need the DVD to boot. But now the sound wasn't working. I followed the directions on a guide with the Kext files and redid Permissions by the terminal. and BAM I am good to go again. Now back to the other issue. Went into, the file kext to edit the CPU=1 line and then enabled Multi Process in the Bios, now instead of Mac info showing Core 2 Solo, It is showing Core 2 Duo, once again Great, and yes, I am a NOOB!!!! This just comes to show you how easy Kaly Leo is, Easy!

Hence, here is my problem, maybe two, very small at that. First, my laptop seems to overheat a little now, and when I downloaded some files like Core 2 Duo temp and Fan control and SMC something, It does not display the RPM (which show them at -1 for both fans) and 0 degree C. Is there a way to correct this, and let me add that when the laptop is plugged in the fans do come on, and it starts to cool, so that is some good news.

Secondly, I have a program installed in the Preferences that cleans up .DS Store files, but it is annoying booting up and when I am in the desktop, that this one file keeps popping up and of course disappearing for good in the session. Is there a way to get rid of this. It states in the file, that its something about Maya 2008 and something, yes, I do have an Alias of Maya on the desktop screen.

Oh one more thing, I don't have a Battery Juice left display at all, went into the Power Save settings and Options and there is nothing there for me to check out, I attempted some edit in a file and set something up from 1.0.5 to 1.1.0 and it gave me some error, I did not repair permissions because in the instructions it stated to just reboot. And thats all. thanks again PPL!
