Enthwar
I installed Kalyway's Leopard on my PC. I'll try and list what I can hardwarewise later in the post. It worked perfectly for about a week with a couple freezes here and there, to be expected. Last night it froze up and I restarted it, upon boot up, all the windows and and even the logon box were all shifted to the left it seemed, although my background was still in the right spot. I said "whatever I need to go to sleep anyways" and turned it off. Upon bootup this morning it loads through the white screen then just reboots and does it all over again. When i -V it, it doesn't have any errors whatsoever. I also -legacy'ed it as well. The last thing it does is the USBFs and says that the OHCI controllers wil be unloaded across sleep, then it waits a minute and says: continuing done MACH Reboot I get no error or reason why it's rebooting. I tried messing with my bios, but that just caused it to go into the multilanguage-you-neeed-to-reset-your-computer-screen. So I put it back to default, and it does the same thing. Just rebooting without any errors. I didn't even do anything important either, I updated iLife, but even so it still worked for a few reboots after I did that. Any help will be insightful. When I try and search this on google, most of the people are only having this problem when they try to install it, but I've already installed it and it's been working great for quite a while. And as far as I know Macs don't realy have a "load last good configuration" like a Windows, I really do not want to have to start all over again. Enthwar
Since no one decided to help me I went ahead and just reformatted and reinstalled. It's doing it again, and I've come to the conclusion that it is iLife that is causing this to happen, it only does this after I install it. Enthwar
Ok, nevermind. I did another install, never installed iLife '08, and it is doing it again. It's really doing it for no reason as I've rebooted it multiple times since installing anything, and it still worked. What the hell is going on, please someone help.
