wan3212 Posted February 3, 2008 Share Posted February 3, 2008 i installed jas leopard 10.4.8, it said installation successful. so i rebooted. now wut? when i leave the disk in it boots bak to the installer, when i take the cd out it boots to windows. how do i set it up so it boots into mac? i looked around in bios, nothing there helps. help is appreciated. ive spent hours trying to get this working. i might just wait 6months until i buy a new cpu/mobo Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Right now the computer boots up, sees Windows and assumes it is the only OS on the computer. So you need to tell the computer there is now more than one OS. Wayfarer247 Posted February 5, 2008 Share Posted February 5, 2008 I would honestly suggest Grub, as XP doesn't really come with an effective bootloader (or one that I know how to use).
