durpan
I also just found it in System Profile under USB. -UBS Bus --Novatel Wireless HSDPA Modem Version: 0.00 Bus Power: 500 Speed: Upto 12mb/sec Manafacturer: Novatel Wireless Product ID: 0x8116 Vendor ID: 0x4113c I tried this but no luck http://www.novatelwireless.com/support/mer...u870-apple.html :hysterical: Hi everybody...I've the same problem I would like to eliminate XP from this Laptop but at this time too much hardwares are not suitable with this LeoHack...I'm on Kalyway 10.5.1 on a DeLL XPS M1210. The WWAN card is a DeLL 5520 and chipset is Novatel, this is an internal card and it's shown in System Profiler in this way: Novatel Wireless HSDPA Modem: Version: 0.00 Bus Power (mA): 500 Speed: Up to 12 Mb/sec Manufacturer: Novatel Wireless Product ID: 0x8137 Serial Number: Novatel Wireless HSDPA Modem Vendor ID: 0x413c An old post that I can't find anymore, said that was enough to complete the info.plist by the product id and vendor id...but where!? I've installed software and drivers from the same link above, but nothing. Now I have 2 softwares in Applications that don't recognize the card: Sprint Location & Search Sprint Activation Utility in Sistem/Library/Extensions I have 3 folders NovatelMerlin.kext NovatelWireless3G.kext NovatelWirelessFilter.kext WHERE IS/ARE the right info.plist?!?!?!?!? I upload the 3 folders zipped if someone cares to play with them... Thanks a lot bye durpan Novatel.Kext.zip Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/85029-dell-mobile-broadband-card-550/#findComment-702802 Share on other sites
