"Disk Boot Failure" on Restart after Successful install of 10.4

I have a working DVD and a brand new IDE HD and I went through the install process of OSX from XxX 10.4.11. I click restart after the installation says it's successful and then I get the error "Disk Boot Failure. Insert System Disk..."

Not sure how to fix this. I don't have the options of Darwin to type "tohkernel" or anything like that, I can't load the OS from the HD.

Other HD's work, and this HD is even seen from XP and all the install files are intact and are viewable, so I don't think it's the HD.

Anyone have some input?
