will5
Hi everyone I was trying to install JAS 10.4.8 on my HP Pavilion 9205CA laptop. It has AMD Turion 64x2 processor, Western Digital Serial ATA hard drive 120 Gb. Running Vista Ultimate. Hard drive is partitioned 105 Gb for drive C and the rest is drive D. After i get to choose languige screen, i go to disk utilities and do not see my hard drive at all. I see CD-ROM drive with OSXsystem on it , also i see my usb external hard drive. I want to make a clean install and wipe off windows, so i dont need dual boot. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks Will5 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/84343-hard-drive-is-not-recognized-during-installation/ Share on other sites
agent-squirrel
You need to open disk utlity from the Utilities menu at the top and erase the drive as Mac OS Extended. Give it a name and close disk utility. Then your installer should find it.
