Can you upgrade the harddrive in Macbook Pro?

Could I upgrade the hard drive on a Macbook Pro?

The one I might get is 5400RPM and I think I would really benifit more from a 7200 RPM. So I would like to upgrade.

Also another question:

How much would it affect my computer to have 5400 RPM as opposed to 7200? Is it really worth the upgrade? I just assume it would be.

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum.

Thanks in advance for the help!

I went from a 80 gigabyte 5400 RPM hard drive to a 200 gigabyte 7200 RPM and it was like night and day. Things load a whole lot faster and everything is a lot smoother. I can play music, surf the web, and load up Windows XP in VMware w/o a hiccup.
How did this affect your battery time?

So it seems that it shouldn't be that hard to replace the hard drive, as long as I'm careful. And then the upgrade would be a good thing to invest in. I just need to make sure I can make it possible to do this sometime in the future, because I'm getting the 5400 RPM hard drive because It's all I can get in order to get the 256mb graphics card.

Thanks for the help!
