hixatchi
I have a very strange problem, I've installed Leopard with the vanilla kernal and EFI MBR as GUID does not work for me. Strange thing is that if I try to boot into Leopard without the DVD in the tray it will just gimme a black screen and I don't see it booting, If i leave the Leopard dvd in the dvd drive, wait 8 seconds so it doesn't boot the Leopard dvd, then it will load Leopard...very strange! I would like to boot without having Leopard dvd always in the dvd tray....any suggestions? thanks!

madpike05
Hey, i had the same problem, and what i did was an easy fix. Just put the cd in and boot from the cd then go into disk utility and make sure that the name of the partition is only 1 word and that should fix the problem. ex. Leopard HDD to. Leopard
